Thanks for sharing the tattoos you are happy
with. I really enjoyed looking at the pictures and reading your stories. Pauline J from Scotland I really
liked this tattoo.

I’m going to look ahead at my next tattoo. This
is one that is going to take some planning and I am more than happy to have
people giving suggestions and advice. But first you need to know that I am a
huge Harry Potter fan. I’m not quite dressing up, running around with a broom
between my legs throwing balls around – but not far from it.
So this one is all about Harry Potter. Go ahead
and laugh. My love for what JK Rowling created will remain… Always.

I read the first book at the age of 11. I was
pulling a sicky from school and as my parents both had work I was home alone.
Being good at parenting my mum wasn’t about to let me sit at home watching day
time TV. She gave me a book about a boy called Harry Potter.
By the end of the day I had finished the book
and was hooked. The next day I started the second book. 19 years later and I am
still in love with everything Potter related. I can’t wait until my kids are
old enough for me to read them the books.
So I’ve got 2 possible ideas for my Harry Potter
tattoo. I will be getting a Dementor on my forearm to cover the Chinese writing
that is currently there. This is an element that needs to stay (due to its
purpose of covering the big and dark tattoo I already have).
Dementor
Option 1 – Have a Patronus coming down my arm
towards the Dementor. With the 4 house animals (Snake, Badger, Lion and Raven) all done in a realistic style
being the other main elements of the sleeve. Space fillers will include a
snitch, wand, deathly hallows symbol etc.
Hogwarts Crest
Option 2 – a Death Eater mask, The face of
Salazar Slytherin from the Chamber of Secrets, The image of Death (from The Deathly Hallows story), The Dark Mark and possibly a Werewolf. With similar
space fillers.
Death Eater Mask
Any ideas, suggestions and feedback are welcome.
For anybody that isn’t a Harry Potter fan, I
apologise for the last 5 minutes. Here’s your chance to tell me about the
inspiration for your sleeve. Is it themed? Was it intended to be a sleeve or
was it a case of getting one, adding another one and then it grew into a
sleeve?
