Last time I touched upon my fondness of tattoos, a possible
explanation as to the origins of my love for tats and then showed off the
beauty that was my very first tattoo. Looking back at some of your own
responses I’d like to mention Jenny A for their submission – I love the story behind this tattoo.
This time I’ll tell you all about my 21st birthday and the
matching tattoos my friend and I have. Being a 20 year old male, living the
young and single life, working in a restaurant and bar, socializing and
drinking in a town known for its student nights… all things that can make a
tattoo like this inevitable.

During my teenage years I couldn’t get enough of the films targeted to
the “typical teenager” (American Pie, Road Trip, Euro Trip and the sort). One
of the best for me was ‘Dude Where’s My Car?’ I thought it was hilarious. So
much so that even after almost a decade of its release… for my 21st
Birthday… we used a scene from ‘Dude Where’s My Car?’ to inspire us to get our
matching tattoos.
We have the words Dude, Sweet and Shibby tattooed on our backs. (unfortunately the tattooist was just happy to take our money without really taking the sizing into consideration so I’m left with something that doesn’t resemble what it should).

Which makes me think, what bad tattoos have you got? Is it a case of it
not meeting your expectations or is it just something that you shouldn’t have
had done in the first place?
With the new series Tattoo Fixers Extreme, I’ve been watching repeats of
Tattoo Fixers lately and the amount of “I was drunk” or “I went to Magaluf”
stories is just unreal. There are the odd times that the tattoo has just been
done badly and the person is wanting it covered.

The way they manage to
transform these old things into new pieces is sometimes amazing. I’ve been
looking at options myself to cover up my Chinese writing (I’ll touch back on
this at a later date). How about you, have you had a cover-up? Care to share
your before and after pics?
Post your comments below and email your pictures to b00292028@gmail.com, the best one will be featured in the next post and will be entered into the prize giveaway (Winner will be announced 29th October).
